Numerous restaurants, beach bars and taverns operate on the pebbly beach of Kokkari. The beach stretches for about 1 km. Also, on the eastern side of the village is the double semi-organized, pebbly beach that ends at the small island of Kavos. Kokkari has the right climatic conditions for windsurfing as the high altitude (1,153 meters) of Mount Karvounis which is above the village creates constant winds. The beach of Kokkari is located at a distance of 10.2 km. from the capital.

Megalo Seitani
It is one of the best beaches of Samos. It is located 45 kilometers west of the capital of Samos and 14 kilometers west of the settlement of Karlovasi. To reach Megalo Seitani, you have to continue the route from Mikro Seitani a hike of about 40-50 minutes from the Karlovasi River. Megalo Seitani has been designated as a biological park as in the area Monachus-Monachus seals live. The landscape around the beach is impressive and perfectly expresses the natural beauty of Samos. On three sides, Megalo Seitani is surrounded by rocky mountains with pine trees and in some places with olive trees and on the north side by crystal clear blue waters.

Taverns and beach bars operate on the beach.
